Garron Cadiente blazes to first place finish at PrimmBurning through the competition and the ultra rough and rocky course, Garron Cadiente of G&R Racing had a near perfect race finishing first in the prestigious Trophy Truck class as well as first overall at the SCORE Terrible's Primm 300. With a finish time of 4 hours, 56 minutes and 34 seconds, Cadiente averaged a ground-pounding 58.27 miles per hour. Cadiente started 17th and immediately hammered down to get out into the front pack. Cadiente was second physically on the course after one lap, but already gained the overall lead in the race which he was able to hold through the final three laps. Additionally, Cadiente earned the fastest lap of any vehicle race with his final lap with a time of 1:13:44. Garron crossed the finish line first and had to wait several minutes until the other top finishers came in, to calculate the official time. Surrounded by his wife and children, as well as his support crew, Cadiente raised his hands in victory once the official announcement was made. Cadiente had this to say about the brutal race, “That was crazy, I don’t think we could have gone another lap. We had a near perfect race, a few minor problems. We had no flats the entire race. The pace was crazy! It was a battle the whole race! MacCachren, BJ and Wyllie were not easy to beat. I was in Wyllie’s dust forever. I knew MacCachren, BJ were right behind me. Geiser Bothers did a great job prepping my truck. My crew was there for me at every pit. We had fast fuel and tire stops all day. I want to thank everybody who helped me get this one! It means a lot.
